Jessica Dumas, Owner

Jessica is passionate about using her talents, skills and experiences to contribute to the betterment of society and consistently exhibits all qualities of a great leader. She is currently serving her first year as Chair of the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce, where she has been a member since the spring of 2012. Her volunteer involvement spans over 15 years and clearly demonstrates her dedication to community. Her current Board of Directors participation also includes the Aboriginal Council of Winnipeg and the Lieutenant Governors Youth Experience Program. She previously Co-Chaired the Gang Action Inter-agency Network (GAIN).
Jessica commits her time to membership in committees that promote success, sustainability and innovation such as the Winnipeg Chamber’s Human Resource Leadership Council, Excellence in Aboriginal Business Leadership Award Selection Committee and the CentrePort Advisory Committee.
Jessica’s profession ties in well with her volunteering and advocacy. She is proficient in sales and marketing. She also has strong management skills, excellent communication and analytical skills and proves to be a lifelong learner with the ability to absorb new information quickly and remain on her feet under pressure. Jessica has facilitated her own group self-development workshops and has emceed a multitude of events. Her communication skills have led to her appearing on TV and participating in radio shows and announcements. Her business provides coaching on maximizing individual and group potential as well as small business management and staff morale improvement. Always looking to grow, she is currently exploring courses at the University of Manitoba in the Social Sciences field all while independently raising three sons, who are committed players to the game of football.
