Harvey McLeod
Executive Director, Interior Salish Employment & Training Society

Harvey McLeod was born and raised in Merritt, BC.  He is a First Nation member of Upper Nicola Indian Band. He has served over 22 years as an elected council member for his community.  Harvey has worked in the employment and training field for 25 years, first with the federal government and the past 17 years with the 16 First Nation communities in the interior BC area with Interior Salish Employment & Training Society (ISETS). 

 Harvey knows the importance of working together to effectively and efficiently develop employment & training programs for people of aboriginal ancestry.  While working for ISETS, he has established a working relationship with Service Canada regional office, 3 local employment centres within ISETS’ region, BC Aboriginal Mining & Training Association (BCAMTA) and TECH / Highland Valley Copper Ltd.   Harvey has served on various committees and boards in the political, social and educational sectors. Harvey enjoys golf, hockey and spending time with his family.
