Doing Business in Chapleau

Stonecircle’s Jennifer David had the opportunity to visit her home town and the community of Chapleau Cree First Nation on October 22, 2013 when she participated in an I DO BUSINESS. Community Summit.
Community members interested in starting a business participated in the one day summit which included information on financing, mining opportunities, marketing and banking.  Jennifer presented on building a solid business plan and all the questions that potential entrepreneurs need to think about before getting into business. 

Approximately 20 people attended the event, which was sponsored by Nishnawbe Aski Nation. Future regional summits are being held across northeastern and northwestern Ontario this fall.
