Barb Hambleton is a member of Couchiching First Nation in Ontario. She holds a Registered Professional Recruiter designation with the Association of Registered Professional Recruiters of Canada and is certified in the P.A.T.H Strategic Planning process and has solid Facilitation and Evaluation skills. In addition, Barb has experience in Financial Management, Public Speaking and overall partnership development and is also certified through Thomas International to administer Behaviour Profiling and Job Analysis. Barb has worked as a Human Resource Professional within both the public and private sector for 15 years, developing a wide range of contacts on provincial and national levels. She is involved in community programs on many levels: Serving as previous Co-Chair on the Board of Directors of the Original Women’s Network; Former Board Chair, Vice-Chair and Executive Secretary of the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre; Former Executive Secretary on the Aboriginal Business Development Centre Board of Directors; Former Board Member for Reaching Equality Employment Services; Currently sits as Agency Liaison Volunteer with the United Way of Winnipeg; Committee Member of the All Charities Program through the Province of Manitoba.
